Research projects
The Institute has as a main priority the development of research projects and interdisciplinary research teams in the fields of “Family” and “Education and Family”.
To reach this goal, the institute does the following:
 Agreements with Public and private institutions to carry out studies.
Give each year scholarships “Joaquim Molins Figueres” to research about Family Policies.
Give the scholarships “Junior Faculty” for young professors writing a PHD thesis about an specific issue from the Institute.
Promote for young researchers, their participation in other courses from other University and Institutions in the world. |

The Institute of Advanced Family Studies is the first institute of graduated studies in Spain which has as main target the family policy development. To the birth and development of family policy IESF offers a scientific and interdisciplinary base on family issues to suit the needs of public administration offices (public administration, syndicates, firms and associations). Research, education, spreading of information, on-line work, international vocation, advising and collaboration with public and private organizations are the everyday job of IESF.
